Your Chance to Look Like Jonah Lomu

Gum shields made by your dentist bear no resemblance to the instant mouth guards sold in sports shops and are essential for any contact sport.  Custom-made gum shields are constructed on a model of your mouth so they fit every crevice.  This not only protects the teeth but stays in place on impact and protects against jaw fractures and head and neck injuries.  They can be made in any colour combination so you can show your team colours every time you open your mouth.

This type of mouth guard can also be worn at night if you grind your teeth to separate your upper and lower jaws.

New Dentist at Ashwater

Lesley has joined the team with a great interest in preventive dentistry.  With many years experience, Lesley has a great ability to make you feel at ease, even when you are being read the Riot Act about brushing and flossing!  She is mad on animals and a keen golfer and musician.

Tots Visit Us Again

Rose Street Nursery School has been looking at people at work in the community and chose to visit Ashwater.  They had great fun learning about the oral health message, riding in the chair and having their teeth counted.  The local newspaper was there to record everyone's smile.

Implant Master

Jocelyn has just started a 2 year part time masters course in implants at prestigious Guy's Hospital.  She gained a place on the course, against huge competition, through her commitment to postgraduate education and the many courses in this subject that she has attended.  We are lucky to have her for the three days a week she is not at Guy's.

New Baby at Ashwater!

Dawn had a daughter, Ella, in November, weighing in at an impressive 9lb 15oz.  She doesn't have any teeth yet, but her gums are in perfect condition.

Why it Pays to Smile

It takes 43 muscles to frown but only 17 to smile.  So relax and smile. If you want to change that smile, we can help - we offer all types of cosmetic dentistry.

Pounding Pavements

Lynda has just participated in the Great North Run and has raised over £500 for Marie Curie.  You may have seen her in running gear in the paper.
