Approximately 5 days before the event, we will see you for an appointment where we will remove any tartar, staining and plaque on the teeth. All the teeth will be polished, including any fillings (if appropriate) that are in the smile line.

Using polishing strips and discs, a great result can be achieved.

If you want to do more than this to enhance your smile, more treatment would be necessary. If a white filling has yellowed with age, it would have to be replaced or you may want to consider “whitening” your teeth (see Tooth Whitening). If treatment is required, it is best to contact the practice several weeks before the life event.

Knowing that you have just had your teeth polished and your smile enhanced will give you that extra confidence you need for that special day.
